The Teifi Marshes nature reserve is featured in the February 2012 issue of Countryfile magazine as one of the 20 great waterway walks. This nature reserve is just 10 minutes away from Valley View Cottages and is home to a wide range of wildlife, including kingfishers, herons, otters, red kites and water buffalo.
Within the nature reserve is the Welsh Wildlife Centre with its award-winning architecture and stunning views. There are plenty of walking trails with bird hides located around the pathways. The Glasshouse Cafe is located within the centre and focuses on serving local Welsh produce.
